SD35 - Using Universal Screening Data to Inform Instruction

Now that you have universal screener data, learn how to translate those insights into effective Tier 1 instruction and differentiated small-group teaching. This session will explore:

  • Responsive Tier 1 Instruction: How to adjust whole-group instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Data-Driven Small Groups: Strategies for grouping students based on screening results and delivering targeted interventions.
  • Explicit and Systematic Teaching: Using evidence-based instructional routines to support all learners.

By the end of this session, educators will leave with strategies to support the implementation of small-group literacy instruction that meets students where they are while strengthening core instruction for all.
